So guess what….It’s snowing! I went for a walk yesterday wearing a tank top and got sunburned. Now today we have snow. C-R-A-Z-Y!
I am not a huge fan of snow or cold weather. I do not think it should be cold or snow in the South. I think I may have to move further down! I did show Hattie how to stick out her tongue and catch snow flakes on it! That was actually really fun and sweet.
Hattie was about five months old the last time we had snow. We dressed her in the cutest snow suit and took her out for about a minute. She did not like it. She was cold and started to cry. So that was the end of that venture.
I started thinking about a time in college when we had a lot of snow. So this was actually right after I graduated, and I was still in party mode. The Husband, a really good friend of ours and myself played in the snow one night after a few adult beverages. There was this old stove out by the dumpster at our apartment that we decided to build a snowman on. So we built Buddy and his girlfriend. Now the girlfriend had a very choice name, but I am going to keep this post “G” rated. We found their accessories in the dumpster next to the stove. I promise we didn’t live at the dump. The dumpster was just right in front of my apartment.
I am kind of hoping that the snow sticks so we can build a snowman with Hattie. I don’t care what happens to the snow after that. I will not use any accessories or anything from a dumpster–I swear!
